Lynwood has a strong heritage of supporting missions locally and around the world. Financially, 14% of our budget goes to support the Cooperative Program. 2006 Mission Vision III.

God has been at work through Lynwood as we accepted His Mission Vision for us. Jesus said in John 4:35,"the fields are white unto harvest, but the workers are few" and in Acts 1:8, Jesus commands us to be His witnesses – to be the workers for the harvest fields!

As we focus on the Acts 1:8 challenge, THAT ALL PEOPLE MAY KNOW salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, look at the fields that are waiting for us:

Cape Girardeau Region
Shining Light Baptist Ministries, Charleston, Missouri

Christian Activity Center, E. St. Louis, Illinois

Appalachian Outreach, Jefferson City, Tennessee

June 15-20, 2008     Cost is $325 per person

Opportunities for service include: home repairs of all sorts, Backyard Bible Clubs, distribution of food, clothing, and furniture, and work at the Ministry Center Building or the Samaritan House.
