The vision of Lynwood Baptist Church's Children's Ministry is to see all kids come to Christ and to equip parents to take charge of their children’s spiritual training and development.

Life Groups
Life Groups or grade based Bible study classes meet every Sunday at 9:00 am and 10:30 am. First through sixth grade students meet together in small groups to study God’s Word, learning to apply it in their daily lives.

AWANA August to May
AWANA is an international, Bible-centered club for children in preschool through sixth grade. The aim of the curriculum is to take youngsters a step deeper into God’s Word while giving boys and girls opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Download AWANA Registration Form Here

Centri-Kid

Centri-Kid offers a camp experience that will grab kids’ attention and capture their hearts through high-energy worship, interactive, kid-friendly Bible study, and lots of fun! Bring your group to Centri-Kid––from worship to recreation to music—our staff does it all, so you can enjoy your week and build deeper relationships with your kids. Centri-Kid camp for 2007 will be July 30 - August 3. The camp will be held at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo. Here is the information pack with the participant form.

Upward Sports Ministry
Upward sports ministries are designed to build the character of every child, instill godly principles through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and share with every child the gift of salvation. Lynwood currently offers Upward Basketball and Cheerleading. Check the Upward page for the game schedule other information about the Upward league.

Kids Newsletter

Each month a kids' specific newsletter will be produced and provided for the parents of children here at LBC. You may sign-up by dropping an email to Kidsnewsletter@lynwoodbc.org The monthly newsletter will have articles for parents concerning safety, parenting issues, recalls and various other areas of interest. The purpose of this newsletter is to be a resource for parents. Please feel free to drop us a note or any suggestions.

Kids Worship

Kids Worship is a high-energy, fast pace worship service just for children. The children and their leaders meet in room 232/234 at 10:30 to learn more about Jesus, have activities, play games and enjoy music that children can move to. A video lesson is included to re-enforce the message for the children. Kids Worship is designed to give the children an understanding of worship on their level with them in mind. Kids Worship is for children in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

	Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School
Each year, your child will experience a brand new exciting adventure theme with LifeWay's Vacation Bible School. Whether we are taking an American road trip, exploring Great Britain, or hiking across the Arctic tundra, your child will experience thrilling Bible stories, awesome music, energizing snacks, and fun crafts and recreation!


Old School Games
Each Sunday night during the summer, we get together and play some good old-fashioned schoolyard games. These games may be new to your child, but I guarantee parents and grandparents will remember them well!

Sports Crusaders Camps
Sports Crusaders is designed to minister to children in the 1st through 6th grades by providing sports workshops focusing on soccer, baseball/softball and cheerleading.

	Annual Fall Festival

Fall Festival
Every October 31st our church hosts a Fall Festival for the entire community at the Osage Community Center. This event is a fun, safe alternative to “Trick or Treating” and is open to all area preschoolers through 6th graders. There are always plenty of fun games, refreshments, candy, and door prizes.
