Ever feel like your batteries are running low?  Getting through the week can sometimes be tough.  You need a place to bring your family to fill up physically and spiritually!  That's exactly what we will be offering with CHARGE on Wednesday nights!  We will have a meal opportunity at 5:00pm and Bible Study/Discipleship opportunities at 6:00pm.  We will have options for all ages in your family.  There is no need to register for a class, just come as you are!  If you would like to enjoy the meal, we would only ask that you call us by Tuesday at 1:00pm to let us know you are coming that week.  We hope to see you at CHARGE!

Spring 2019 Bible Study Groups

Wednesdays 6PM

The Book of 1stPeter

Leader: Caleb Cole

Begins February 6

This world looks nothing like the promised perfect kingdom of God. And yet we as God's people must live in it every day. In this video and discussion based study of The Book of 1 Peter, you will walk through the short letter and unpack its importance for our witness in this world. (7 sessions)

Unguarded

Leader: Mark Carver

Begins February 6

Have you made mistakes in your past that you are struggling to move beyond? God offers wisdom for those who are stuck in shame and guilt so that they can think rightly about the past and move forward in the Christian Life. Wisdom demands that we guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23). In this 6-week study, you will engage with God’s word to learn what it means to guard your heart and why this is so important. (6 sessions)

Its Not Supposed to be this Way (Women’s Study)

Leader: Jayme Reese

Begins February 6

Life often looks so very far from the reality we long for. In this study for women, you will discover that whether we're dealing with daily disappointments or life-altering loss, we can find unexpected strength as we wrestle well between our faith and feelings. “It's Not Supposed to Be This Way” offers a safe guide, fresh biblical insight, and life-giving perspectives for living in our present reality. (9 sessions)

GriefShare

Leaders: TBD

Begins February 27

If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. It may even be difficult for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. Grief Share is a Bible study support group designed for those who have suffered the death of a family member or a friend. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.(13 Sessions)

Horizontal Jesus

Leader: Bob Stillwell

Begins March 13

Loving God is vertical love. Loving others is horizontal love. Jesus showed His disciples how these two loves are intertwined in practical ways. While our relationship with God is based on faith alone, He warns and encourages us to see that the way we treat people affects our experience of Him. In this six-session study, you’ll learn how to apply biblical principles drawn from several one-another passages in Scripture. In doing so, you’ll reap blessings in your vertical relationship with God. (6 sessions)

Cults (Jehovah’s Witness and Mormonism)

Leader: Wendel Wyatt

Begins April 3

Jehovah’s Witness and Mormons claim to be expressions of the Christian faith. But their teachings are so foreign to a faithful understanding of God’s Word and to historical Christianity that they can only be considered to be false Gospels; counterfeit representations of Christ and His church. In this short series, you will learn to recognize essential differences between Christianity and these cults. You will also be better prepared to engage in a conversation about faith with those who have been deceived by their teaching. (4 sessions)

Bible Study/Prayer Meeting

Leader: Mark Anderson

Each week during “Charge”, this group will meet to consider varying Bible Study topics and to join together in prayer. Participants may drop-in between studies on any Wednesday or may choose to join this group each week. (ongoing)
