Ever feel like your batteries are running low?  Getting through the week can sometimes be tough.  You need a place to bring your family to fill up physically and spiritually!  That's exactly what we will be offering with CHARGE on Wednesday nights!  We will have a meal opportunity at 5:00pm and Bible Study/Discipleship opportunities at 6:00pm.  We will have options for all ages in your family.  There is no need to register for a class, just come as you are!  If you would like to enjoy the meal, we would only ask that you call us by Tuesday at 1:00pm to let us know you are coming that week.  We hope to see you at CHARGE!

Opportunities to CHARGE

Spring 2017 Bible Study Groups

Wednesdays 6PM

Beginning February 1

Leaders: Jay and Lori Blankenship

Begins February 1

Relying on the firm foundation of Scripture, DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. (Sessions 13)

The Treasure Principle

Leaders: Bob Sheets

Course begins: February 1

Jesus told a story about a hidden treasure that, once discovered, brought life-changing joy. In this new video series based on the best-selling book, The Treasure Principle, Randy Alcorn unearths a simple yet profound principle that will radically change your concept of stewardship. Short on guilt, Alcorn illuminates the liberating joy of giving and its impact, not only for today but for eternity as well.  (4 sessions)

Leaders: Josh Burgard

Begins February 1

If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. It may even be difficult for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. Grief Share is a Bible study support group designed for those who have suffered the death of a family member or a friend. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. (Sessions 13)

Finding I Am (Women’s Study)

Leader: Jayme Reese

Begins February 1

What is the deep cry of your heart? The ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it. Join other women as you explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. Through this interactive, in-depth study we will be encouraged to trade feelings of emptiness and depletion for the fullness of knowing who Jesus is like never before. (6 sessions)

Share Jesus Without Fear

Leader: Noell Bailey

Begins March 1

This popular evangelism resource presents a simple and relational approach to witnessing that underscores the dependence on God's power for the results. Birthed out of the life-transformation of its author (former brothel-owner turned Christ-follower), this course teaches believers how to navigate a witnessing conversation in everyday situations and how to respond to many of the objections that people have to following Christ. (Sessions: 4)

Leader: Scott Kernan

Begins March 1

We live in a radically skeptical age. Tough questions are being asked about Christianity. And most believers are ill-equipped to provide the answers our culture and communities desperately need. Many in today's church do not know the Bible as well as they could and they struggle with their own "big questions" about the faith.  This study answers six questions about topics such as mental health and suicide, paranormal activity, the resurrection, how we got the Bible, suffering, and why God is sometimes silent. (6 sessions)

Bible Study/Prayer Meeting

Leader: Mark Anderson

Each week during “Charge”, this group will meet to consider varying Bible Study topics and to join together in prayer.  Participants may drop-in between studies on any Wednesday or may choose to join this group each week.
